In 2001, Everard took on directorships at The Best of Group s.a., the exhibition halls in Antwerp and the Palais des Expositions in Namur. Everard founded easyFairs in 2003.〔(TravelDailyNews 14 November 2008 )〕

Everard is also a board member of Fortis Bank.
